Pay for what you make. Not for the month.
In development — nothing here is live yet.
Have you seen the prices? Months of subscription for a service most people open twice. AI
genuinely is not free — the models cost money and so does the infrastructure behind them —
but it does not have to cost that. This is what one very annoyed developer is building
instead.
The idea
Four apps, one principle: the price is what the work cost, plus what it takes to keep the
service running. Nothing else.
-
Priced by use, not by month. You pay per generation — per song, per
image, per clip — at a price that covers the model call and the backend behind it. A
month you did not use costs nothing, because there is no month to pay for.
-
The right model, not the only one. Providers and prices change every
few weeks. Each app routes a request to the model that suits it rather than being
welded to one, and then shows you which model ran and what it cost.
-
Your own key, if you prefer. In advanced settings you can put in your
own provider key. The request then goes from your device straight to that provider and
never passes through my backend at all.
What is being built
Four projects. Three of them are specified and designed down to the screen; one is the one
that starts now. None of them is available yet.
-
AI Image Studio (designed) — describe a picture and get it, then edit
it, remix it through a mask, and export a complete iOS and Android icon pack without
leaving the app.
-
AI Video Studio (designed) — one sentence in, a short film out. The
prompt is analysed and rewritten for the model that will render it, and the progress
screen shows real job stages rather than an invented percentage.
-
AI Music Studio (designed) — describe a song, get a finished track
with cover art, then remix it, extend it, or re-cut a single section with whatever the
chosen model actually supports.
-
RoveQuill (starting now) — a trip captured as it happens: photos,
voice notes, places, turned into a publishable story in which every fact still points
back at the thing it came from.
This is an introduction, not a launch
Nothing here can be downloaded or used yet. The research is done and the specifications
are written; a first usable version is months away, not weeks. Everything on NeuraTiM
stays free — this is the separate project where AI has to pay for itself, and it will do
that honestly.
